Burn Shield® Technology is an innovation that offers fire resistance capable of achieving the highest level of fire ratings on steep-slope roofs. It is featured in Polystick® XFR, a self-adhered high-temperature underlayment, and Polyanchor® XFR, a nailable underlayment.

Polystick® XFR - Fire Resistant Self-Adhered Roof Underlayment
Polystick® XFR is a dual-purpose fire resistant and self-adhered waterproofing underlayment. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polystick XFR features a 80 mils combined elastomeric modified bitumen upper compound and an aggressive self-adhesive compound on the bottom to provide proven waterproofing protection; while Polyglass’ Patented Burn-Shield Technology® offers fire resistance capable of achieving the highest level of fire ratings.

Polyanchor® XFR - Ember Resistant Fire Rated Underlayment
Polyanchor XFR is a fire-rated dual purpose ember and water resistant underlayment. Polyanchor XFR features a plastomeric modified bitumen upper compound and a self-sealing SBS modified compound on the bottom. Polyglass’ patented Burn-Shield Technology® provides superior ember resistance.
Meets CA code requirements - Class A Fire Rated ember resistant underlayment for WUI (Wildland Urban Interface)*
Full roof coverage on combustible decks and under Class A roof coverings to protect against burning embers
Up to 180 day exposure
